FIFA Club World Cup 2025 - Attendance Dashboard

About

The Fifa Club World Cup 2025 is a bad idea. It conflicts with the Women's Euros; it is an unnecessary disatrction in an overcrowded calendar; it will tire out players; there are loads of useless matches. But it's greatest problem is that it's in America, and it's not selling many tickets. So I've set up this dashboard to track just how badly the matches are attended. The charts are below, along with all the data.

If you want to know how I put it together, email me (firstnamelastname@gmail)

Group Stage Analysis

Real Madrid are the big winners of the group stage attendance, with 95%. Perhaps not a surprise as perhaps the most famous team in the world. More surprising is the rather lower attendance for the English clubs - Man City in 10th with 67% and Chelsea 19th with 53% - given the popularity of the Premier League. Chelsea in particular are lower than the overall average of 57%.
